Photo therapy Unit Double Surface
In the new born period i.e. birth to one month, jaundice can pose a serious problem, because high level of the billirubin can permanently damage the brain. This indirect billirubin, which is not water soluble, can be decomposed to a harmless metabolic, which is water soluble, does not cross blood brain barrier and is rapidly excreted in the bile and urine and so does not accumulate. This is achieved by exposing the infant to bright light (app. 4.5 micro watts/sq.cm/nm) in the range of 420 to 480nm wave length. This is used for treatment of Hyperbillirubiaemia in Neonates, which provides the light source in range of 420-480 nm wave length. Double surface Photo therapy Unit is the combination of over head photo therapy unit and under Surface Photo therapy unit.

Immediately after delivery the new born baby experiences some degree of thermal instability as it comes from the mothers womb which has the stable environment to the cooler environment of the delivery room.

Heater Assembly
The heater assembly located above the center of the support structure consists of an integral examination light and a 650 Watts heating system for quick warming and even distribution of heat on the baby bed.

The First Breath
  • The open care system combines virtually all the technology a caregiver may need in situation needed for resuscitation.
